alright...i probably messed up somewhere in the calculations...but according to winisd....make the box as big as you said you could.....the subs and port will face the same direction....make the port along the side...so it's 13.5 in. tall....it then has to be 22.5 in. deep....so it will form a L shape along the back corner of the box.....the first side of the L will be 12.25....the second side will be 10.25 inches long.....the box will be 3.0 cu ft. and tuned to 30hz any questions just pm me

yea......very large..and ported...i'd say at least 4 cubes a piece.....unless you want a dd system then go smaller.....but that box is a good place to start

sorry no deal, the guy (jerry) is a rep for jbl and as of the last time i'd talked to him he said he could still get deals on jbl's caraudio, since then he was moved to just a home audio rep and says that he can't get any deals on any of jbl's caraudio stuff anymore(still trying to figure out exactly why) but anyways, all he can get his home audio...which i'm thinking of looking into....but i really wish i could be looking at a shiny new 2200 but i guess i'll have to wait

i just got word that i might be able to get one of the new jbl amps (bpx1100.1 or bpx2200.1) for cheap.....like manufacturer cost cheap....worth thinking about, i've heard very little about these amps, and if i do decide to go this route it will be replacing my hifonics 1500 to power a xxx15 :boxin:

i like this forum so much more than most forums that are sprouting up all across the internet....most i join and then never have a single reply because of the simply idiotic posts that morons post saying that my pyle blah blah blah is better than so and so's sub, this forum actually gives mathmatical and mechanical reasons for why one driver/piece of audio equiptment is superior to another, loving the start of this forum, lets keep it growing with more and more intelligent people than me
