  3. Sad. Lol. Maybe they should be known more as what the acronym stands for. Quality comes in all forms with Fi. iv own fi i got an ssd sitting in my room now but i just heard some ppl say they sound like shit and some ppl say they dont. i want to be happy with my sub The enclosure will determine output, sound, depth, and much more. It's not just the equipment. Put a cheap subwoofer (your AudioQue) into a correctly made enclosure and it will sound amazing and be loud. well the AQ were in the right enclosure and they sounded hollow and like shit byult box according to DJ specs (called and asked him)

  5. no im not all about sq i just dont want it to sound like shit like my aq did if i could get a loaded xcon i would lol i want the btl so i could eventually strap 2 aq 2200ds to it.
  6. I want to get the btl but worried about the SQ!
  7. If you already have the AQ then i would just keep that amp...but thats my .02 yea save me some trouble but i asure you i will have a sundown amp one day lol.
  8. Like the description should i sell the AQ and put out for the sundown are just keep the 2200d for more power?
  9. Okay re-wording it. Should i run a single 15 or 18 btl? Other idea was to run just a single 12 btl. Then other idea was to run 2 ssd 12s or 2 ssd 15s? This will be going in a blow through for a single cab. looking for lows and great sounding bass while still getting really loud. thanks.
  10. kinda asking for opinion are if yall have heard anything like this before

so your telling me that i could get 3 ssds on 1 1ohm amp and be safe and not blow the amp are speakers i was always told to run even loads. People run 3 sub setups all the time, and you usually end up with an uneven load, (unless the speakers have a high enough impedence rating to start with), I think. Either way you should be good. What did you think was going to happen if you wired up those audioques? That would have been a funky load but it would have worked. what you mean when i wired up the audioques? I was under the impression that you were already using them... i was just didnt undersstand what you had meant.
  12. was thinking of doing 1 fi btl 15 are 18 are just doing the single 12 btl are sticking to the 2 ssd 12s i have somone that wants to buy the 12 ssd off of me so throwing out more ideas.

  16. sthib replied to sthib's topic in General Audio

  17. sthib replied to sthib's topic in General Audio
yea i will im done with the audioques they are not what i expected i just dont know if i should keep the 2200d and do 2 12s are sell the 2200d and do 3 12s each with a zx750.1 on it.

lets try somwhere around 32-33hz and the hieght is what ever you need as long as its not more the 16w and 38 long to be safe
  24. sthib replied to sthib's topic in General Audio
its about 2.8^3 after displacments tuned to 36hz It sounds like tuning may be an issue with it being 36hz, since you say it may be lacking some lows. I would try a lower tuning on a new enclosure first since that will be the cheapest upgrade. mind designing a center console box for me that is 16w X 39L for me to try this?
