Hello all

my daily ride is a mercedes clk 230 Kompressor and my setup is two jl audio 12w6v2 sealed off a jl audio 1000/1....

very good SQ and output level not bad but............. i want morrrrrrrrrrreeeeeee :bump:

So i'm interrested by Fi audio ! i can make a box of 3.5 cu ft maximum (volume net)

a Fi Bl15 ported in a 3 cu ft tune to 32-34hz seem to be a good thing!! the 15" will be powered by my 1000/1 (1100-1200wrms)

i think upgrade my amp soon and take a 2000wrms :domoslay:

good choice?

Damien

Honestly, to me that'd be a downgrade.

But JMHO.

Usually the best practice is to port that box before buying new equipment.

What are you looking to achieve here? When you say you want more, do you mean more volume? Because you'll probably get more volume with the BL's in a ported box, but they won't sound near as good as the W6's. Do what denim suggested and build a ported box for the W6's and see if that cures your bass hunger.

If it doesn't and you still want more, orrrr you just want to change your setup, look into the Q instead of the BL.
