Ya that would be cool if you could find it.

I remember somewhere, I asked exactly how he got started, and got a fully detailed answer... lemme see if i can find it.

Well, This is teh story I got.

Back when RE first started, Scott owned it all.

Then he wanted to further more RE and do componants, and amps. So he sold some of his shares to a partner. Cant remember his name.

Well It was time to reup some of RE products, such as XXX, and other stuff.

Well in this process, Scott became distance from his family, and missed being home, so he sold teh rest of his shares to his partner.

After this, Scott had no decision in teh company, and Wat teh partner did, was his choice.

there is actually a post somewhere on ecoustic or another tempro maybe about scott and people were saying scott/RE was losing money or something... Then Scott came in there and laid it straight with a long TRUE story about what happened...

It came down to that he wanted to take the company in a different direction and that direction wasn't going to happen while in the situation he was in at RE so he sold it and started Fi in the direction he had wanted....

I will dig the posts where Scott sets the record straight in another forums gonna take some time though

Theres alot of mixed feelings about this topic.

RE followers say, Scott was in teh wrong.

Other people say, he did what he had to do.

ford yes it was a big hodge podge of people all pointing fingers up until scott came in and laid it all down... then everyone changed their tune... chit you read it too I can't remember where it was... It was a big thread...

Me too I only remember it was a white background LOL

Yupp you are right people were blaming scott saying he was a sell out and people was bashing Us Amps for price hikes.... Someone was saying he sold because he was bankrupting Resonant Engineering was a whole lot of doo doo...

Then Scott came in, laid it all out from start to finish then everyone was pretty "mum" after LOL

God i wish i could even remember where it was

Holy chit ford you detective you... TOLD you it was a white Background... lol

yea. twas started by me **embarrassed** i was regurgitating what i was told. no hard feelings right? right?

lol... wow. Hadnt thought about that post since Tracy from Kicker seemed to end it...

I left, Im happy and thats all that matters to me.

Flakko... no poly mids for you! Well not until we have them back in stock anyway :)

Here is my 2 cents. Scott has more interest in the sport/hobby of the entire audio scene. When these new partners came in, they wanted to make big $$$$$$. Scott produces a very reputable product at an amazing price that easily compares if not beats RE. By doing this people who don't have a butt load of cash can get more into this......why......cause he has an extreme passion for this. that is why i say, thank you Scott. In my opinion, you are a pioneer in this industry and allow people to get great products for a great price, so again, THANK YOU!!!!!!1

To me, it's not even about price and performance. It's about what Fi is offering: products that can be customized to satisfy any customer's needs. There are more and more companies every day trying to sell the same product for less, but there is no company that is even within the realm of Fi's customization.

I have great respect for what they've done and will continue to do.

When you told me white background, I knew exactly where to look, cause I remember posting on that topic.
