Can a BL 15 with flatwind coil, and p. chamfer take 1000 watts or so rms for an hour or so at a time, and 1700 watts rms for spl burps? Or does the sub need the cooling option? In 3 ft3 enclosure tuned to 48hz.

i would say just get the p chamfer and run about 1200-1400 watts to it

i have a kicker zx1000.1 rated at 1258 watts at 2ohms

and evryone on here said it was perfect for just daily driving

and yes i would say 1700 watts would be more on the fart/burp type thing
