I was just curious what physical attributes you guys look for in a speaker. I know the best thing to do is listen to it, but if your not able to at the moment, what are things you can look for that indicate whether it's a quality driver, or crappy driver?

Any links to sites or threads would be appreciated.

Really depends on the intended application. You can go over all the T/S params and figure out what will work best for your application, then find some drivers and narrow it down from there. If I cannot listen or handle the driver, I will look for others' opinions. Pictures more often than not cannot tell you anything about build quality. You really need to handle the driver to tell how well it's built.

I am very similar to Ryan ^^, rarely do I buy a driver anymore with out testing or a listen, but I have been lucky to hear a good number of speakers.
