I am running my 15" Q in a sealed enclosure, off of a RF t10001bd. The sub is making like a zapping, "electrical" type noise, Even when I turn the music at the head unit off, and disconnect the RCAs from the amp, the sub continually makes this strange noise.

hmm possibly...but what could be wrong with the amp? Its a brand new amplifier

Wow... not sure about that one. I couldnt see how it would be the sub though. Id try and hook up another speaker/sub to see if it does it too. 99.99% sure it will. Id have to say its the amp.

Thanks,

Scott

Is the amp hooked to a cap?

when you press the accelerator does the noise become louder or more pronounced?

It doesn’t have to do it all the time just sometimes?
