May 26, 200421 yr Author To go latin again; the NPL, where NPL stands for Non Plus Ultra, which roughly translated means No one besides, no one over. The last one pretty much sums up what the Mag stands for in my book Wow...those are also my initials. And Magnum was chosen because it is a really good karting chassis. (keeping with the whole motorsports/performance'ish naming)
May 27, 200421 yr Had no idea you were using SI for sub duty...glad to hear it....The ONLY thing that's changing with the Mag is the dustcap screening...that's it!Dustcap will be the same, as with everything else....Actually neither of my Magnums have ever seen power. They are in original shipping boxes still (took them out to look at of course).I'll put them into use yet, one of these days.Maybe I'll only use one of them and sell the other one when the SI brand name goes "big time"...heh.The Hammer Edited May 27, 200421 yr by TheHammer
May 27, 200421 yr Why not just drop the "m" and and add a "s" and call it Magnus?NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! why not? it is latin for great, large. maximus is the superlative, meaning greatest
May 27, 200421 yr There is an inside joke someone told me about the word Magnus and it would just not be good for SI.

May 28, 200421 yr Seriously though, could you get away with calling it "SI Mag D2"? At this point in time i doubt your campany wants to lose the recognition this sub is getting.
