Does Fi offer a recone kit that would fit on a MA Audio 1800XL? If not, who would? The recone kit would have to include a new basket.

To be honest, I have no idea. If its a US standard sized ID coil, then Im sure we can. But with MA, you never know what China is using ;)

About the only way is for you to measure with calipers the ID of the coil, then Id know if I could... but youd still need to send it in for me to test fit and find the best parts for it. Always best to have a new sub in house before I do a recone.

How much would it cost if i could do the recone with a BTL soft parts or just maybe Q? And i have no idea on the ID of the coil im the noob i jsut recently learned the soft parts somewhat.

I really doubt he can get access to the VC. Unless someone else has ripped the sub apart. I'm sure he wouldn't want to take out the coil just to find out that a recone can't be offered.

Any easy way to find out what the coil is exactly or can you guys look it up or anything? I mean id love to get it recone by FI. That'd be some sweet stuff.

Im hoping someone has. That'd make life easy. Id like to have a BTL basket and soft parts thatd be sweet. Does it really matter about that its a dual 4 voice coil or anything like that?
