when ordering a sub is it possible to have the terminals on the sub swapped out with ones that have a bigger hole to fit a larger gauge of wire? cuz i wanted to use 8 gauge on my Q but it wont fit on the sub

strip some of the wire back. Surely you aren't sending enough power to the Q to warrent 8awg cable.

And if you are... bye bye warrranty.

i just like the looks of the 8gauge on there...makes it look more beefy

Sorry... I dont have any. But I normally just cut back about 20% of the wire and twist. There is no loss in doing so as it is only over 1/2" of length

I have 8 guage run to my Q and i dont have problems with it fitting in the terminals

+1...knukonceptz 8 ga fits with no problems. The tork-lite terminals are starting to grow on me.

so are the same terminals from the Q on the BTL's too?

Yes they are. They fit the "smaller" 8awg with a good twist to them, but some of the "bigger" 8s you will need to trim a little off the OD.

With my Kicker 8ga, I just trimmed some back, twisted, and put it in the hole.

Just get a cigar trimmer and roll it around slowly until it fits in, either that or be smart and just buy a size wire that makes sense as 8 is stupid overkill and this of course is coming from the king of overkill.
