August 2, 200718 yr Author What kind of 4 door is it and how much height do you have to work with?first, sorry for the cap lock. funny photo, i told you i was a newbie. second, its a saturn l300 4 door. this is what i have.... 40"W X 22"D X 22"+ H. what should i do? thanks!
August 2, 200718 yr couple choices really....you got roughly 9 ft^3 before sub/port displacement....is this for Daily or comps...?
August 2, 200718 yr Often in trunk cars sub and port back is the way to go. Im assuming that you can fit a 40" X 22" X22" box through the trunk opening??? How much clearance and space top to bottom, front to back, and side to side does this give you? I have seen plenty of people that max out their trunk space and the box fits so tight under the rear deck that they trap a good portion of the sound in the trunk... trunk rattles like crazy and would be very loud for whatever kidnapped person was stuck in it... but not so much in the cabin.Plenty of space for a single BL18 though. Thanks,Scott
August 3, 200718 yr Author for daily use. will be metered at events time to time. the enclosere will be in the back seat. no where near the trunk. can i get the best SPL by placing the sub here? thanks!
August 3, 200718 yr you would if you got the trunk sealed off from the cabin. so you dont have to pressurize more air space.
