Posted August 5, 200718 yr Hi. Has Fi or anybody had any luck with running the ssd 15's sealed. I want to change to a sealed for my next setup. Looking for daily driver/occasional bassracer.Isnt' thomas rourke jr using his ssd 15's sealed? I was thinking of running 4 ssd 15's sealed off my Atomic 5000.1.
August 5, 200718 yr I loved the Q sealed, I'm sure the SSD with copper coils does an admirable job as well. That'd be how I'd run it if I ever got one.
August 8, 200718 yr Yep, Tom is running his sealed in about 2 cuft each... a wee bit on the small side too me, but for those that have sat in it, it drops deep and clean for sure.5000.1 is a bunch of power to 4 of them. Definitely looking at adding the BP to keep them alive with that.
August 8, 200718 yr Author thanks scott. If i add the bp option thats getting me close to the Q series price. Would a stock Q work better for me or should i get the bp and coil option on the ssd?
