I have decided and changed my mind a few times now, first off im getting one sundown 1000d for now and planning on getting another to strap later on. So i know i want a dual 2 ohm sub so it can work at one ohm now by it self then later i can run 2 at 2 ohms later on when i get another 1000d to strap. I first thought about getting 2 12 ssd's with just the copper option, then i thought maybe a q with no options, then i was like maybe a bl but wasnt sure on what options, i know on the bl i would need the cooling option but not sure if i would need any other options. But i probably should let everyone now i love to listen to rap music and heavy metal, looking for a daily pounder that sounds good. any help would be a preciated. Thanks

I'd do ssd for your combo

Think the ssd would be better for what i want than the Q's? Kind figure i wont have enough power to push the bls.

i think you should go with the SSDs also still gonna hit hard but the Q might be better im not sure if you will need more power or not

SSD with copper is rated at 800W. That amp is strong and would probably be better suited on a Q for most applications unless the SSD with BP option was used (still less than a Q).

So i probably will go with a q now, sure it will be fine for type of music i listen to? Like a daily pounder for rap and heavy metal but still sound good?

Should be fine for that. You are running the two opposite sides of things for most people. Ported-rap, sealed- tighter kicks and double bass. Im sure there will be a few people on here that have similar taste and can give you their recommendations.

i run a 12" q on a sae 1000D been running the setup for about half a year.

I listen to every rock genre.... screamo, metal, punk, etc.... and i also listen to rap..... and i feel the direction i went was best with my q.

i did a low tuned larger size box....

mine is 2.5 @ 30hz... id recommend u do 2.4 @ 28. or if u want more output but sound pretty good, id suggest 2.2 @ 32.
