Posted August 8, 200718 yr Hi everybody! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Quebec, Canada and I'm now the owner of a new MAW-15 subwoofer and I've got a couple of Q's for you! So thinking I can use this page for those...I'll post my principal question here...which is what would be a good budget amp to power this sub, keeping in mind that I might add another one later? I was thinking about a Hifonics BXi 1206D. Does it makes sense at all? And how much wRMS this subwoofer can take? I know it is rated at 500w, but will it handles something like 750w/RMS daily? Thanks for your inputs guys!
