I got a viper d1200.1 and i will be running 1 15" at 1ohm. would that be too much power?

also if running at 1 ohm, should i build an amp rack with a fan?

if the rack is nessicary, anyone know any sites with some plans, or some ideas on designs, etc.

o yeah, i am putting this in a Saab 9000 hatchback.

Power handling will be enclosure and vehicle dependent. If you're careful with the gain and boost settings, I don't see you have a problem. As for the fan, I wouldn't use it unless you absolutely need it. I myself do not like to introduce components that may be a cause of noise. Post pics when you get it all done!

Capone is running that amp to his 12" and loves it

I've got 1200 going to 1 12" and it shines.....of courese I don't crank it constantly with that. It's just there if I need it. :) Just be a lil kind to your D2 and you'll be good with that amp. :)
