got my FI bl 18" metered today @ 141.1 db on music with a single stock battery. i dropped down to about 137.0 db within 10-15 secs. will a second battery give me a lesser or greater then a 141.1 db? going to fix box as well. (baffle, bracing, rounding off, ect.)

Are you allowed to run a beefier stock battery in Bass Race?

Depending on what amp you have (thanks for not giving us that info :angry2: ) a better battery up front may be all you need.

What was the song? What size is your stock battery? What size is your alternator? What kind of amp do you have? What impedance are you running your amp at?

i barrowed the cd for the announcer. stock battery, dont know the size. stock alt. amp.... RF T1001BD @ 1ohm

With bass race there isn't a set amount of batteries you are limited to I believe that is only for db drag classes.

I have 2 batts in my car...

1 duralast gold (came with car)

1 kinetik hc2000

planning on running all kinetiks some time soon..

Definitely upgrade the stocker to something better under the hood.

Then do the Big 3.

then if you still get voltage drops, look into a high output alt.

I agree...

BIG 3 will definitely help you and use 1/0 if u can.

If your concerned about price try Knukonceptz or welding wire..
