Posted August 20, 200718 yr O.k. I got some money coming in soon. And I was wondering, Which would be better. 2 Maw-15's or something from Fi that would be better. So I was either going to get 2 Maw-15's or maybe just one Fi Q 15" or a Fi Bl 15".... Im staying under 300.00 for the sub... Well maybe a little over if I decide to incorporate some of the options with the Fi. If I get the Q or the BL which options should I get for them. Mind you this is just for Daily use. Thanks in advance.~MadroX Edited August 20, 200718 yr by Madrox
August 20, 200718 yr What are you looking for out of your subs?I'm guessing since you went right to 15's you want a ground pounder, but I could be wrong.. so enlighten us.
August 20, 200718 yr Author Well I went straight to 15"s because if i get 12's I would be really bad tempted to get 2 of them which I cant afford. And Ya I was wanting something that pounds really good. Not sure on the amp yet. Im going to get a new one after I figure out which sub I am going to get. Room wise... Probably around 4ft^3 not sure really though. Its a 96 Taurus just in case you know a more accurate number.~MadroX
August 20, 200718 yr I don't think it's really fair to directly compare a MAW-15 to a Q, they're simply not in the same price bracket...I preferred the SSD and Q to the MAW. But if you're after maximum cone area for your dollar, you can't ignore Mach 5.
August 20, 200718 yr Author So out of the Q and The BL which would be better for daily poundin and which options should I get with them
August 20, 200718 yr Author For that, I'd choose the BL...you don't really need the accuracy of the Q.Which options would i need with the BL....? for daily pounding. I dont want to shell out 40 bucks for cooling if im not going to need it
August 20, 200718 yr Admin If you are just going to run about 1000-1500 watts to it and not compete, you can probably just get a standard BL.

August 21, 200718 yr Author Thanks that explains alot. Do you think I would be ok with just the P Chamfer since Im not trying to Blow buildings down with this thing? I dont plan on putting more than 1200w to this thing. I was looking at the SAE-1000D to power it if that was a good choice.
