Posted August 21, 200718 yr So, all i have exp with are the typical square ports that are commonly seen. I have no idea about these nice little round ports that occasionally pop out at me. Can yall give me some info on these. I kinda like the way they look and am now kinda thinkin of givin them a try on my girls little car. any info would be great. as i said, i have no clue as to anything about them at all.
August 21, 200718 yr I know for a fact that it saves space in the box. IF you want a 3 cube box, instead of building it 3.5 ft^3 box (for port displacement) you can build a 3 cube sealed and attach to the box.I have a 4" Aero on my Pioneer 3002 and I like it alot. I'm excited to try out my 6" Aero that I ordered today
August 21, 200718 yr Round ports have less surface area than a rectangular or square port... so in effect you can reduce required port area slightly. Aeroports' claim to fame is that they smooth the flow of pressurized air in the entrance & exit of the port, but keep in mind that tuning an aeroport isn't simple because of these openings.http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7546http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=2805http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7411
