right now i have 2 12 cvr's and a fusion powerplant 20006 amp i want to get a Fi.Q im thinking about getting a 18 =) my amp is rated at 1150wattsx1@1ohm says its a mono amp but it has 2 speaker outputs so if i want to run a Q at 1 ohm would i run it on 1 channel or on both i dont get it and should i get the Bp power with the amps rated 1150watts

and i was hoping i could get some tips on box building ive made a few for my cvr's but havnt noticed a big difference i was wondering how big the port should be and all that fun stuff that is the only part i have trouble with, when i build boxes i have a 93 jimmy s15 4 door i have plenty of room i think

or should i just get 2 15 AA arsenals =?

A standard Q18 will work on that power just fine if you set things up correctly. As for the AA Arsenal 15s... thats a tough call. Both would make for soild setups off of that power. Similar sized overall enclosures. While AA has the surface area advantage, Q has the overall linear swept displacement advantage.

I'd recommend sticking with subs of the same size if possible..

Even though that amp has 2 sets of outputs it is still a monoblock amp...it really doesn't matter 'how' you hook the sub up to it, it only has one channel

Overall the 18 should be louder for a musical application than the pair of 12's...now burping/spl that may be a different story...

go with the q 18. i have 2 of them in my mercury moutaineer and you cant go wrong with them. i had one and it was insane for a single driver. i had a lil more power than you but it got crazy loud and sounded damn good doing it! pm me if you want to get indepth with enclosure designs for the q 18. ive tried so many and i have so many designs for that vehicle to meet your needs. let me know!
