I want to know what style box should I get sealed or ported I listen to rap mostly and I am getting one 15" Mach5Audio sub

    Rap usually sounds louder on ported systems due to its bass heavy style.

    It doesn't always sound better though.

    If you aren't concerned so much about the quality of the sound compared to overall loudness then ported is more suited for your needs.

    Just be sure you've got enough room for a ported enclosure as they tend to be about double the size of a sealed enclosure

    The MAW-15's have done well in a good number of ported, low tuned installs.
