Myself and Troy (tejcurrent) attended a local competition today and I believe we respresented Fi nicely. I took 1st in the Truck/Suv 501-1500 class w/ a 146.5 @ 41hz, second in the StreetBass Unlimited class w/ a 142 something playing Gorilla Zoe - Do It, and was runner up in 139.9 BassRace. StreetBass is similiar to BassRace expect you run solo, are allowed to open doors & roll down windows, mic is at the bottom center of the windshield, and you average over 60 seconds. The BassRace was the most exciting since it was my first time doing BassRace. My first two rounds in elimination were cake, but in the finals I was up against Walt Johnson. Walt is the SC BassRace points leader and has plenty of experience at this. I held my own nicely but broke out at the last second. The countdown literally hit 0 at the same time my score bumped up to 140.
