Posted August 27, 200718 yr DO SSD 15 WORK SEALED I HAVE2 AND I WANT 2 GO SEALED HAS ANYONE TRIED THEM IN A SEALED ENCLOSURE YET?WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD AMP FOR THE PAIR
August 27, 200718 yr why the frown and yelling??The sticky covers the enclosure options although there is no mention of sealed. Tons of good amp options, but you aren't giving us anything to go on to help limit your choices.
August 27, 200718 yr Sorry for the "smart" response. I will try to keep intelligence to a minimum here, which should help me fit in better with users like M5, aneonrider, Vladd, ramos, and TopGun.I'm also starting to regret my decision to purchase Fi products, as the main supporters are SQueers hellbent on patronizing the curious. After purchasing subs from 2 different lines, I am semi-pleased with the product, but the manufacturers online attitude leaves a little to be desired. Nick, I'm talking to you. August 28, 200718 yr hi, im in the process of making another box mdf wood, my question is i dont know if they sell mdf wood 1" thick but if they do, is it better to buy a thicker mdf wood per say 1" is better than 3/4???
August 28, 200718 yr 2 cubes sealed for the 15 works in Tom's truck, however it may not work in your application...We generally don't recommend running the 15's and 18's sealed.Thanks-Nick
August 28, 200718 yr yes thicker is better... it will make the enclosure stronger and less resonant, which in return gives more output.
