June 9, 200421 yr Why 2 x VR1000ds?? How about a single crossfire VR2000d ?Or a single VR4000dThe Hammer Edited June 9, 200421 yr by TheHammer
June 9, 200421 yr I don't actually know if they are out yet, but the Crossfire website says 2004.The Hammer
June 9, 200421 yr Author two 1000d's because theirs two on ebay for a total 200 less than buying one 2000d.. think its worth it or just use two 1000d'S?
June 10, 200421 yr 2 used VR1000d for $200 less than a single new VR2000d ?Also have to factor in the extra wiring/power wire, space etc.As I understand it the 2000 is 2 x 1000's under the same heat sink. (I could be wrong tho). The Hammer

Plus you save some space and install issues using 1 vs 2, and less signal loss.
June 15, 200421 yr if you dont get the 4000, than you will lose "The Hammer" name I'm not sure if this is directed towards me, but my guess is it is in reference to my "TheHammer" nick name. This name is not taken from the TRu Technology amp, but from the 1996 Stephen King movie "Thinner". The Characters name played by Joe Mantegna "Richie Ginelli" aka "Richie The Hammer" is where the name came from... since my first name is Rich. The Hammer
