Posted August 28, 200718 yr i have a 98 blazer and im looking for a really loud daily driver something something over a 145 + thats what im hitting now,so im thinking 2 ssd 15's or 2 btl 12's or 15's,or since i have a btl 18 ordering another and just walling it (oh yea!!!)
August 28, 200718 yr BTL's would be the choice if you're interesting in farting, though you'll be spending a lot more to power them properly.
August 29, 200718 yr How much power do you have to work with, and are you willing to upgrade your electrical system to handle the strain of multiple BTLs?
August 30, 200718 yr Couple of HDC315's in the right box would do that number no problem in your vehicle and still sound good for daily. Throw 3-4k+ to the pair and you're set. BTL's have the ability to get louder, but will require more power and stronger electrical to support them.
September 15, 200717 yr Author as far as electrical i really dont care its all a work in progress just tryin to get the pieces layed out then install if u kno what im saying, just tryin to make up my mind on what i want

September 17, 200717 yr you should be able to get over 145db legal with a single 18" BTL in a blazer no problem...my first time ever on a meter i did a 147db DB Drag and that was at 39-40hz in my blazerhow big is your box? and tuning/port area ? how much power to it?
September 17, 200717 yr as far as electrical i really dont careMind explaining what that means? Does that mean "I don't care about my electrical system" or "I don't care about how much it will cost to upgrade it, I just will upgrade as necessary"?
September 17, 200717 yr Author it means i will upgrade to what needs to be done, it was in 7 cubes with 90 sq inches of port, tuned to 32hz that was in a durango though, off a power acoustik a3000db 2300 watts rms
