Posted August 31, 200718 yr Are they any good? The ones in question are the GD-6001 and AP-3001. Do they do rated power? How durable are they? How is the build quality and reliabity? I know that the GD-6001 is CEA Compliant so it should do rated if not more but I am worried about the quality of the amps. I want first hand experience not what people have heard. Thanks in advance for the feedback.
August 31, 200718 yr Author If not that good name some amps that are in the same price and power range.
August 31, 200718 yr I heard a setup using Audiopipe amps a few years back, both the amps and subs weren't something I'd use if I were given them for free.

August 31, 200718 yr Author Really that is odd because I have checked with other people, competitors from termpro.com that said they are very solid amps. John Carr is running 3 GD-6001's on 6 of the SPL 15's and is averaging 160+db's.
September 1, 200718 yr they actualy come from a pretty decent buildhouse and the amps are decent enough, the downside is you will have an aidiopipe badge on itif you can get it cheap and can hide it then go for it
September 12, 200718 yr http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/Audiopipe_GD-6001/Appears to be a decently built amp from the photos... but I think 2Kw is being a tad optimistic..
