lookin good man how do you like the havoc i was thinkin about getting one for my uncles jeep

Hows your factory electrical system holding up. I am looking at that same vehicle. I have two Zed Audio Gladius and one Deuce thats going in what ever I get. One Gladius on components, one Gladius on midbass and the Deuce on 1 or 2 12" subs. I am older and looking for sound quality only.

Future star: I'm loving the havoc, it doesnt have quite as much upper subbass punch as my 4 tens did, probably due to the fact that the sub needs to break in a little, and the box is quite large for low freq extension. But it slams on the lower bass!! Flexes the windshield something aweful!!!

Installer: Electrical is holding up fine, let me share something with ya. I spoke with Ohio Generator some time ago about an alt upgrade. He(the owner) told me that the cx-7 has a new type of alternator called the pd drive. The alt is run through the ecm, and it will direct current to where it is needed, meaning that you can get almost full output at idle. the only problem is, if you over stress it, the ecm will shut down the car. I have never shut down the car, and I've run that system at idle with ac on, at night! It is a 110amp alt from the factory, so the setup you have in mind willl work wonderfully. The car is actually fairly audio friendly. There are nice spots to run wire under and through the car, the batt terminals are set up for hooking pwer and grounds up. The only real PITA I found is the front doors-running wire to them. It SUCKS trying to get the wire into the door from the car.

Thanks for the comments guys

Very nice, any chance on a review for the review section?

Just to clarify: this is a common occurrence when you have a fat bottom end. The perception is that the top end is lacking, when the reality is that the bottom end is exaggerated. A smaller enclosure would probably help you out there. Glad you're liking it, though.
