hey everyone! im diggin the fi audio products! trying to figure out what i want before the 14th on my b-day :P ... need to know if i should go with a one 12" BTL or BL.. this will be for daily.. budget is about 12-1500 for sub box and amp.... going in the back of a blazer xtreme.. box specs and amp opinions please! any info will be appreciated! thx

Welcome to the board!

How much power are you planning on running? Keep in mind when running 2000+ watt amps your electrical system on your vehicle could need some serious upgrades, which you should take into account when you choose what series of woofers and how much power you are wanting to run.

Thanks!

i plan on just pickin up 1 sub. my truck used to have 2 eclipse titanium 12"s, 2 1000watt kicker amps and 2 caps.. they got stolen in 03 and i havent had a system in it since.. im leaning towards one BL 12".. just need to find some info on amps to push it and if it sounds better in ported or sealed box in the back of a blazer. thx again

BL's are for a ported enclosure only (you can check out the sticky section in the technical board and read up on all of the info there)...

~1000-1500 watts and you are in good shape for a BL, and with having a blazer you have plenty of room to work with...

Thanks
