So I have been checkin out his posts and now I am curious. What would be "louder" in an overall sense....4 10" Q's sealed or 2 12" Q's ported. I have no exp what so ever with sealed enclosures and would like to know the answer to this. I know the 10's win with overall surface area, but will the ported cause much more SPL than the 4 10's? Any advice on this would be great cause I have been thinkin about it for quite some time now and it is driving me nuts.

Side Note: Probably use a RF4000.1 to 4 10's or Kicker2500.1 or such for 2 12's.

Depends on the application and installation, but if SPL were the only goal I would surely put my money on the ported enclosure in this comparison.

Puts you in completely different competition classes, if that matters to you...

That is actually kinda what I was lookin for. I love my SPL, but wasn't to sure how 2 12's ported would compare to 4 10's sealed.. I would probably have better chances if i ever did compete with the 2 12's ported apparently. Thanks, guess that answers that question. Now comes the fun project of designing a box that looks very appealing to the eye.
