hi i'm interested in a pair of 18" btl's and i'm curious how much efficiency is lost by choosing the "daily" option and the "universal" option , these sub are going to be used in a streetmax truck but I may want to bass race occasionaly. I think i'm looking at dual 2 ohm,pole chamfer,thirdslug,hi xmax coil,daily, and universal for the build options on them how much would recones be so I could stock them so when i blow one i can just recone it and order a replacement instead of missing a show waiting on the UPS guy. Efficiency really isn't hardly lost at all...

The Universal options simply are a few thousandths larger on the top plate to accommodate both dual 2ohm and dual 1ohm coils...

The daily option is needed for anything that is intended to play music at all. Which in your scenario would be best, the SPL gap is a little on the tight side for musical reproduction and it will wear the coil out over time.
