I want to run 2 15 inch Q's with BP power option off a sundown saz- 3000d.. with the gain set right at 1 ohm load would this amp be to much for the q's even with the bp option? or would they take them fine?

I vote get teh BL's, if you havnt already picked up teh subs.

I listed to a Bl teh last couple of days and I hafta say Im in lub.

OMG yes i have to agree.... Don't get me wrong the Q is one of the most accurate subs that can get super low and loud but the BL (in the words of nick) doesn't get pissed off with a lot of power... The BL literally soaks up the power and keeps on going, with room to get a little frisky on the volume knob and gain....

With proper electric it is not unheard of that the Sundown 3K puts out close to 4k watts. You will definatly better off with a Pair of BL's.

I had a 12 Q on a Saz1500d at 1ohm.

Friends got a 15 BL on a Saz1500d at 1ohm

And I hafta say, teh BL is MEAN on teh lows.

Cant really compare a 15 and a 12 but dayum.

He went from a SSD to a BL and W0W teh difference.

A pair of Qs will handle an SAZ-3000D un-clipped on music no problem. Just don't get crazy with sine waves for extended periods of time :)
