I havent really seen anyone hook 3 subs up to one amp, is this possible without causing big impedence problems. If it is, what would be a good amp to run 3 1ohm subs, or should i get the 2 ohm version?

well given that they are dual 1's then you are looking at a 6 ohm load or a .125 ohm load lol. dual 2's you are looking at a 12 ohm load or a .25 ohm load. keep the dual 1's

Dual 1 ohm can be wired for a 0.666667 ohm load (series-parallel).

Dual 2 ohm can be wired for a 1.3333 ohm load (series-parallel).

With impedance rise, the 0.66666667 ohm load is fine on a 1 ohm stable amplifier, while the 1.33333 load will be easier on the amplifier. All of this of course depends on what amps you are planning to use?

I have used 3 MAW10s in parallel-parallel configuration for a 0.66667 ohm load on an US Amps XT2000d with no isssues whatsoever.
