honestly, i don't know. i know it's a couple tweaks and an added capacitor. from what i've read though depending on the dcr of the sub it will play down to 1 ohm.

bump, thought or opinions?

Refreshing to see a PCB that doesn't have any surface mount parts on it :)

I noticed you have the new Knu Karma interconnects...how are those? I was thinking about picking up some myself...

they're nice, very nice lol i have two sets of 4 channels (lol active front stage :) ) and the y connectos as well (2xs isn't installed yet) can't believe i only paid $25 for them.

what do you mean by surface mounted parts, can you elaborate on that??

Look how the resistors, caps and inductors are mounted. They could be hand built. Regularly you will see trace connections as sputtered on by a machine to cheapen the assembly costs, but of course along with that usually comes a sacrifice in quality. Looks like a nice amp, not so sure I would care to mod them if I were you just put them to use and enjoy!

i'm hoping i don't have to mod the d300hc, i might just recone the oz to a dual 1. i look back two years ago to what i was using to today and it's just such a drastic improvement

Those are surface mounted devices. They're a PITA to do any work on yourself...requires a magnifying glass, carefully controlled soldering temp and a lot of patience...
