September 18, 200717 yr You'd probably hear some noise...but at that level of loudness unless you have your head close to the sub you shouldn't hear it...
September 18, 200717 yr I wouldnt recommend it for inverted mounting. Yes, there is noise from it as it is pumping air through the channels. Nick is probably correct in that you wouldnt hear it relative to the balance of output (especially in a trunk app) but I wouldnt think of it in anything but a trunk like that.... Just in free air you can hear it, but its not "loud". No worse than blocking off a normal subs pole vent with your hand and the associated air chuffing it would make.
