Like the title says, I was wondering if there are pumping losses or air noise exiting from the cooling channels or the like thanks. Just to be clear, I'm only curious about bp power option only, let's just say the sub was inverted for reference.

I wouldnt recommend it for inverted mounting. Yes, there is noise from it as it is pumping air through the channels. Nick is probably correct in that you wouldnt hear it relative to the balance of output (especially in a trunk app) but I wouldnt think of it in anything but a trunk like that....

Just in free air you can hear it, but its not "loud". No worse than blocking off a normal subs pole vent with your hand and the associated air chuffing it would make.
