JUst curious man, Rockford use to be the Goto company for me, now it seems as if they have been conversing with best buys pres. or something to sale crap....

The last RF sub i bought was last years model, it said it could handle 900 rms right, so i got my jbl 1200.1, had the gains down, but had it so it could play a lil bit, after about 3 days i was back at BB asking for another sub, gotta love there warranty policy...HAHAHAHA, That could be a thing to do buy a whole lot of BB subs, get the warrant, goto comps burp the subs at whateva ya wanted, then take them all back hahaha...

But i really dont know ABout RF any more, their stuff looks nice, but i have not really heard them.. The amps look nice to but like i said can i believe the new ratings that they put on thier...

:thud: :ugh:

well this year, they made some sweeping changes and apparently they brought back a few of the original designers and techs from the old days when RF was king, so the new amps and speakers are supposed to be a big step forward, so I am very interested to see how things play out, B)

i'm with steve...the new stuff is ...well..it looks fake...but anyway..

the new amps(bd series) are huge...but are supposed to never get hot..

as to the old stuff....hx2's are da bomb...i just sold my 8's for $200..each with a blown coil..but then again....i gave them more then 100wrms more then they were supposed to handle for the better part of a year, and then fed them pure distortion for 10 minutes trying to break 140db....got 139.6....audiocontrol mike and a memphis 1000d with 50-55 hz test tones....WHEEEEEEEEEE :thud:

anyway..image and loud is everything..

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

not a bad score for an 8" sub

yea trying to break 140db with 1-8 is a fun thing to do...hehehe

so you would have done something like a 133db on the new termlab....
