Hey guys, I've been messing around with ideas for my subwoofer and I have a way maybe that'll help with my predicament. Currently, I have a 1995 Honda Accord Sedan and the 18" is to big I believe to fit in rear facing. Currently I have it horizontally mounted.

However...after looking through some of the build logs, I am debating about whether doing a slanted box or not. My question to you guys is, what types of effects will I see of this?

Ideally, I wanted to do it rear facing. But i dont think that will happen. So i've compromised with it angled.

it will still be around a 5 cu ft box and about a 60 degree angle the subw ill be mounted on. Any big difference you guys think before i even attempt to think about rebuilding a box? OR anyone out there with a 1995ish accord know of any solutions to this problem?

I've actually been wondering the exact same thing... My trunk is about an inch too short to fit the box. Anyone got any input on this??

Go for it, it may be better it may be worse. Either way it will fit which is the most important part, the rest can be cured with a little eq work. On the same note a slight angle really won't make that much difference.
