I sent this to the sales email address before I knew about this forum. The sticky says to post questions here, so here it is.

I'm thinking about buying a dual 2ohm Q12 w/ bp power option. I live in

las vegas. Would it be possible to pick up the speaker and save on

shipping? I'm also interested in seeing where they are made if it's

possible. Also will I have to pay sales tax?

So if the pickup is possible, what would the total be and how can I pay

for it?

I'm planning to run it off of one of these amps:

in a sealed box roughly 1.3 cu ft.

I'll be using it for music, no competition. I mostly listen to techno,

and sometimes rap, jazz, and rock.

Still looking for an answer on the local pickup thing.

Not a huge problem if I have to do shipping, it just seems silly to pay ups when I live about 2 miles from the factory.

Yeah, I saw that. I just figured it was already included in the price and I could get a deal. Plus how often would I get a chance to pickup a sub from the people who actually made it. But thinking about it, if they let me, some random guy on the internet do it. Then everyone and their brother will want to show up at their place and they won't get any work done.

Figured it was worth asking though.

Pick up is possible. We will not have the doors open again until Tuesday next week. While we will have 2 people working on production, the balance of us will be at the various dB Drag Finals happening this weekend and we will simply act as if we are closed due to that. Normal business will resume on Tuesday 8-16 and we will have some email delays until then.
