Ok I am new to the forums and hope this is the right spot to ask. If it is not...please point me in the right direction. Anyway I am interested in finding out what it would cost or if fi has any Re audio xxx 12" 2006 recone kits? I believe it is a Dual 2 ohm sub.

fi doesnt have 06 recones... neither do RE dealers... for 06 XXX woofers they must be sent back to RE (ive been told many times by the owner of a RE authorized shop)

Scotts emails will prolly be overloaded when he gets back.

ya i belive they are quite busy with finals so give it some time and you should get a responce from a FI employee soon... but im pretty sure its not a possibility

May I ask why you think this?

because i have asked why a RE dealer has a broken XXX 15 and has it sitting there for months at a time... He responded that RE must recone them themselves and he cant do it (mind you he has reconed pretty much everything on the re line up as well as some other woofers) So if the design is soemthing thats not easily reconable and it requires a machine or whatever then i dout FI would have it for a woofer they dont sell.

I'll be patient and wait...I have a message in to RE as well..so will see what happens! I thank you guys for your responses!

For one, Scott designed teh XXX before he left RE.

Im pretty sure, He can get teh softparts, if he doesnt have em to recone it.

If you will, I stated, I had no clue. But I know he can.

Seems Fi has softparts for about any american made w00fer.

Well again thats what i figured. Like i said SCOTT emailed me and said he could....but wasnt specific to xxx, or xxx 2006.

So just wanted to double check....is all...no prob...And again I know what you said....just strange that he would directly say that he could....unless he did not notice 2006 in my email originally.

probably didnt notice the 06 part and assumed someone might have already seen this thread and got the answer for it. Hey let me know how long it takes for your XXX to be reconed from RE... i may just pay to get the one from the shop reconed thru warrenty so i can hear them
