Ok i'm buying 2 15 xxx subs. I need two amps to run these beasts. I was thinking about Hifonics Brutus 1500d or something like that? Does it actaully put out 1500 watts? I also thought about gettin 4 Memphis 1000d's and running one amp to each sub? Let me know bro's?

well do you have a budget and do you want to push them to their max of just to the plenty range for daily?

Hifonics is cheaper and well-proven. I almost went with Memphis myself, but have heard too many bad things. It's just heresay though, so who actually knows. I have had the Hifonics though and have not a bad thing to say about it.

what bad things about memphis?

i currently run a memphis 1000d(well did, traded the truck, now it sits in the garage) and have never had a problem with it...not even getting hot!

now, my pr140 fried itself, but that's my fault for not pulling the main fuse while working on the system.

anyway...nothing but good things about memphis here...also, heard nothing but good things about hifonics as well. matter of fact, i will be buying a bx1500d or bx1000d soon for the wifey's car just to try it out!

IMO, either would be a good choice!

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:
