Posted November 1, 200717 yr ok someone told me before that if they were standard 3" coils then they could be reconed. well i got bored and ripped on of my blown T1's apart. outside of the coil is 3.204"-3.244" and the inside of the coil is 3.020"-3.051". bent a lil bit, maybe from removing it. how much would it cost to recone? how much power would it be able to handle? would i just be better off buying ssd's?thanks. p.s.- any more dimensions needed ill see what i can do, its kinda hard to get into the basket with a 6" dial caliper . but ill see what i can do if ya need me to.the gap in the motor is approx. .145" Edited November 1, 200717 yr by pauleqer
November 5, 200717 yr Sounds like we could get something to fit. The largest ID we have is 3.018" so Im hoping that there is enough pole-vc tolerence to support that. The best way would be to send it in so that we could measure and spec parts from there. Thanks,Scott
November 5, 200717 yr Not sure how you liked the T1, but personally I'd much rather prefer the Fi subs, and the SSD's are a great price. Huge fan of the rockford amps, but IMO the subs are lacking. I would save the effort and get a new Fi.
