February 17, 200817 yr Author Ok, i'm going with a new setup. Sold the speakers and will only be running front speakers (Polk MMC6500)Would it be possible to find a amp that could power both the speakers (+/- 125 rms) and the RL-i 8 D4?
February 17, 200817 yr Sure, Any higher powered 4 channel amp would be great. You'll need something that can drop to 2 ohms bridged.Or even a three channel amp like the DLS A5. http://www.dls.se/en/car/prod.html?produkt=en_10
February 18, 200817 yr Since you're in Europe (I think lol), you should consider either HELIX ( www.audiotec-fischer.com ) or Ground Zero ( http://www.ground-zero-audio.com/english/01_gz.htm ) They have some REALLY good stuffs that might happen to be in your price range.
February 18, 200817 yr Author Yes it would still be in the $250.- range. and yes i'm from europe The DLS looks great but might be a bit low for the fronts since they are 4 ohm speakers.I'll look into the ground-zero amps, they are widely available here so that might be a good choice. Thanks forthe fast responses guys!
February 22, 200817 yr Author hmm not much luck with these brands, and in this price range... might have to go with two amps to power those 3 channels.... the DLS big three is gonna cost me Edited February 22, 200817 yr by bobobob
March 9, 200817 yr Did you check out the GZ's ? The Nuclear's look like a very solid choice, in my opinion.
