Wire the voice coils in series, so the amp sees a 2 ohm load.

The cool thing about the 1000/1 and amps like it is that if you add another dual 1 ohm driver, you'll still have the same amount of power at a different impedance.

only difference is, your's is dual 1 ohm not dual 2 ohm, so you'd get a 2 ohm load not a 4 ohm like the diagram shows
