Posted November 8, 200717 yr Would be using a earthquake PHD5k amp, "3000 rms at 2 ohms" whatever at 1 ohm rms maybe 4? o0Anyhow, Wondering fully loaded BTL or would BLs be able to handle the 4k rms fully loaded?I wont lie, I love loud, and <3 bass. Who here doesn't So they will be getting slammed hard as I can. But dont flame me it wont be in residential areas
November 8, 200717 yr The website lists the following: Power 1-Ohm:1 x 5000 WattsPower 2-Ohm Bridged:1 x 3000 WattsPower 4-Stereo: 1 x 860 WattsA fully loaded BTL should handle 4k, if you've got everything setup right. Good electrical, and properly set gains makes for happy voice coils. Why not two BTLs? 5kw split between two 18"s would make for some awe-inspiring bass, in my opinion.
