ok im gonna be buying two 18 Fi bls and wondering if 4000 watts was too much for them. i know that Fi subs can take more than rated but is this too much?? they will hopefully be two U.S. AMPS MD 3Ds

Should be alright if they're fully loaded, you set the gains properly, and you're smart with the volume knob. :)

I'd be more concerned with whether or not your vehicle can provide an actual 4kW vs. whether the woofers will take it...

ive got a 180 H.O. alt and 1 kinetik hc800 under the hood and 4 2400s int he back. i was planning on doing a wall.
