get the btl fully loaded recone... i herd it sounds way better on a MT (although im not fond of the MT sound)

well from what i understand, the btl coils are fatter than the mt coils, so I'm not sure which recone they will be using, although i have between 2kw-2.5kw to throw at it so I'm sure they will use the btl softparts.

yea your right. they wont use just a btl recone. they can make it work though.

15" MT recone is $100 plus shipping where ever you are.

FL BTL recones wont fit in the MT gaps. Much larger coils. As Nick mentioned above, not a problem to ship out to whoever as well...

Did he just get a MT recone and call it a btl recone because he got it from FI? or did he get a hi x-max MT or what?

Like i stated in that thread im looking for a SPL woofer that still sounds decent and would work as a drop in for a XXX box(FYI the recone u sent me was pimp, thanks). Ive only herd the MT and barely the DD 9515

Didn't get a hixmax coil...probably just hearing things he hasnt heard before, none of the BTL coils will fit a MT...they all sit on the top plate.

Having new things can make you hear things you haven't heard before...but eh, whatever . He's happy.

1loudhnda... not too much we can do to an MT kit... we can change up the suspension, but the gaps are too tight to do anything with and we simply cant machine on it as it is already assembled and magnetized. Sorry...
