between these three subs.....

1) sid2 12"

2) re sx12"

3 re xxx12"

the sub i chose will be pushed by a hifonics bx1500d @ 1 ohm(whooohooo 1500wrms!!) and put into a ported enclosure( recommmended by the manufactor, of course) in the trunk of my wife's grand prix.

i am looking for loud and clean and a price in the $300-$350 range. since this is the wife's car, i want to try something different, ie..no JL, rf,treo, memphis, eclipse, clarion, diamond or anything i can get from local dealers. so..any other suggestions? i will be buying in the next week or so!

if narrowed down to just 1 and 3, I am at a loss, I think you could flip a coin really, both are going to pound, both are going to sound awesome, but the D2 does not need or hold (one of the two) as much as the XXX, so maybe its a factor of amplifers... big amp = XXX not as big = D2
