Buddy of mine bought a DD9515 and had it reconed to an 18. He brought it over and we spent a couple days building the box for him. Carpet needs to be laid, but I don't think he's worried about it right now. he set a car alarm off from almost a half block away.

enjoy

when do you want to put another baffle on the box? i think i thought of a different way to brace the box without puttting a 2x4 inside it

Nice sub, i have always been a fan of DD and im sure ill cont. to run there subs. What type of car is that? Picture is very dark but looks like its an older extended cab silverado or serria. Box Specs? I would love to see what it would do a bigger / higher quality amp. BTW whats w/ the port being so far spaced from the side?

its a '97 silverado, 5.5cu.ft. internal before displacement. if i dont get the amp, i'll at least get to play with it some. and about the port, if you notice, the sub isnt all the way on the edge either, but actually it is, there are handles on both sides for removal purposes, the handles take up i think 5" on each side, so the port is actually at the edge of the box

somewhere close to 40 hz. some of the mdf warped some i think and changed the lengths of some stuff, but its close
