I'm looking for a 12" sq sub in the 500-600w range. I haven't been keeping up, but I seem to remember reading that RE products have gone down in quality. I know the IDQ is an all time favorite. Anything else fit the bill?

the SE's use the same parts same design AFAIK. I think they went down in quality because the online price skyrocketed.

I'd do a pair of idq's off that 5-600w.

other suggestions are (of the ones ive heard):

RL-p <---amazing woofer

Infinity Kappa Perfect Dvq

A pair of IDQ's in a nice box is a good idea. Other driver suggestions;

pair of AA Assassins, Pair of Fi X, AA Arsenal, Crystal CMP, RL-i. As always the install has more effect then the equipment.

i'm only gonna have room for a single sub, but i'm really not going for monster bass. actually the 600w amp i've settled onis probably overkill. enclosure will be small and sealed.

I have brand new DIYMA 12's I'm trying to sell. I hear 500-600w might be overkill for that too but they fit into some tiny boxes supposedly. I'll let someone else takeover if that's a good sub for you or not
