I posted this on RoE and never got a responce so I figured i'd ask on here.

I recently bought a blown 15" avalanche-

I was wondering if I could still get recone parts to make it match my avalanche 18?

If what I am asking is confusing I mean, can I get the same parts used in my working 18, to make my blown one an 18 as well. Meaning same dustcap etc? Do companies know that parts are used in these subs( companies that can recone them) or is there a way I can figure out the exact parts used to let them know? I have never reconed before and would probably be sending the 15 off to get it reconed, but again I am unsure of what to ask the company i'd be sending it to for a recone if they could match it to my other.

have I confused anyone with what I am asking yet? lol.

I looked for an AA website but couldn't find anything via google. Saw this forum and decided to register to try and ask what I am wanting done is possible. Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance. If my question is confusing, I will try to simplify it best I can.

You'll need to contact Fi about reconing it.

Yes we can recone them. We have all the correct parts except for the dustcap. We will send out a blank one, but if you are good, you can pull the original and reglue it.

Im sure I still have some of those 18" baskets collecting dust somewhere on a pallet... havent used them for OEM in a while.
