Hello,

I plan to build a box for my Q18's (bp option).

The box will be 12ft^3 tuned to 28hz w/4 4" aero ports eash measuring 11.5" long.

Each 18 will be receiving 1600w.

Please tell me if my specs are ok or not.

Thank you,

Larry

Specs work out fine... just might be small on the (4)4" ports. If you step them up to (6) youll have less compression and noise issues.

Thanks,

Scott

Hey Scott,

six 4" ports,can do.

The online vent length calculator that I'm using says that, six 4" ports in 12ft^3 tuned to 28hz should be 18.67" long.

Does this sound right to you Scott or any other technically inclined person.

Thank you,

Larry

that is correct....however i believe he was saying step it up to four 6"aeros...not six 4"aeros...

damn your putting 1600 watts to each sub?

thats what the BP option is for....

I think he was saying (6) 4" ports.

Note he said (4) 4" and then he said (6). Parenthesis to me would mean quantity. . .
