i have a post on steve's page and a few people recomended the aa 8's. and i have a box design i want to use.. but im not sure on the tuning and airspace..

The port opening right before the speakers looks like it is half the size it should be. Is that designed as a choke point?

Have you modeled this at all?

I don't think this could be properly modeled as a ported box. Looks like it may take horn properties as well as bandpass properties. That port opening really looks like it isn't increased to total the width of both ports.

Looks like an interesting design though.

i agree...it appears to be the same size as each side individually, so one would think it should be twice each side's width. unless, like you stated above, it's designed as a "choke" point.
